It's been me and my TurboTax 2007 Deluxe all day today.
Anyone else working on their taxes yet? Every year I just break into a seat hoping we don't have to cough up a chunk of money at the same time the car insurance and other annual expenses are due. I'm not even certain whether I should send this year's return in. Should we wait until this stimulus package is voted on? When would that go into effect?

1. I just got my second 1098 yesterday
and sat down to do mine. I should get a significant chunk of change back so will complete mine this weekend.

2. Not till June is what I saw most recently
It shouldn't affect your tax return in any case. Last time they just mailed out checks, separate from any tax refunds.

I plan it that way. I save money and keep the interest to pay on April 15. That way Bush can't misspend money that is mine.
