4. Not yet -- it'll be posted on the senate site later (don't know how long a
delay there is).

I DO know that Obama and Hillary weren't there, but in all fairness, their votes wouldn't have made a difference.

I wonder what the excuse is for OTHER Dems. :grr:

10. Mikulski Disastrous Vote!
I am not sure about Ben Cardin, I assume he voted to protect the U.S. Constitution, but I know that our turncoat pseudo Republican Barbara Mikulski voted with the criminals and liars! I am sick to my stomach, I talked to her "aide" and he confirmed her vote to allow immunity for the telecom companies. It is beyond disgusting!

6. I'm just desperately trying to figure this out today. I THINK the hope was that
if this passed everything would be fine -- this would REPLACE the current FISA law.

Hell, it didn't even make it to a VOTE.

Now, I THINK that both Dodd and Lehey have amendments, and I also heard that Rockefeller does, too. :

It's my understanding that Dodd's amendment will not include immunity.

It's my understanding that Lehey's amendment offers something a little different - not sure what.

Rockefeller's on now, so we'll hear what he has to say.

Bottom line is I think we're stuck with the law as is, but are hopeful one of the amendments excluding immunity will pass.

THIS is what I think Dodd was talking about filibustering.

And again, I could be totally wrong about all this.

3. I think that is good, isn't it?
There doesn't need to be any fillibuster now and Reid can go to Davos and think about it a bit.

7. I don't know -- but I heard Reid saying on Tuesday that he wants to
"wrap up" FISA this week. Have no idea how that affects all this stuff.

9. One changed vote would have saved it. Let's all thank the 'Dems' who voted to table by throwing them
out of office!

13. Does anyone here know what it means to table a bill?
It means it doesn't get passed. It means they put it on lay away until a later date. Why is everyone so worked up over them tabling this bill?

15. In general, tabling means no action can be taken until there is a motion to bring it back

But they can bring it back fast and vote, or not bring it back ever.

Its just in limbo.
