Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore and activist and musician Bono talked about the interrelations between the climate crisis and extreme poverty and how international efforts to eliminate extreme poverty and to solve the climate crisis could be coordinated to improve the chances for success in both efforts.

"A Unified Earth Theory: Combining Solutions to Extreme Poverty and the Climate Crisis" was a session of the Annual Meeting 2008 of the World Economic Forum. The principal theme of the 2008 annual meeting was "The Power of Collaborative Innovation."

1. Which is one reason why offshoring is a GOOD thing.
There are multiple sides to every issue, and jobs give people to focus their life passions on. Something to do. Something to feel fulfilled.

That or I could whine and cry with the anti-globalists and say with a big tinfoil hat on how Al is part of the "new one world government" stuff too... and I certainly won't.

Back to the environment, all we need is corporate responsibility and that alone would reduce any number of environmental-related problems...
