or do they plan on using it as is?

will they replace the neo cons in charge now?

This all or nothing mentality of the far left isn't very constructive.

Unrealistic and wrong.

We need a government that can properly address real security threats... without breaking laws, becoming a pork handout system and without violating rights.

There are some legitimate reasons to maintain a DHS. It just needs to actually be more about those legitimate reasons, and not a huge bureacratic disaster where anything goes and the public's interests arent protected.
