You may be right; catgirl may be beyond persuadable in regards to your candidate. She may in fact have never even ever been persuadable for Obama, but catgirl is not the only person who reads a post and if you can't demonstrate that you are capable of at least trying to recognize what issues people might have with your candidate (even if you don't agree with those issues), then you put the lie to the WHOLE idea of "Hope" and "Coming Together" and that makes it look really like much more of a personal problem between you and catgirl and others with whom you disagree. In the end, you do little to help a campaign, and may have, in fact, actually harmed it.

I'm not an Obama supporter, but I wish him well and I'm asking you to consider your priorities.

You are very possibly doing your candidate harm by engaging in childish vendettas.

Try asking people what their issues are and showing that you understand something about that, even if you don't agree. Even if you're dealing with someone who will "cut their own nose off to spite your face" how you deal with that sends a message to others that you care enough to try to understand.

That is, unless you don't actually care, in which case . . . carry on, but don't expect any interest in your candidate, because you're showing us that the rest of us have something better to do than whatever/whoever (?????) it is that you represent.
