dare show themselves in public? Talk about being wrong, they weren't just wrong, they were abysmally wrong. Have any of them apologized, or admitted that the errors in predicting the outcome of Bush's invasion were all on their side?

Had I been any of them, I would have slithered away, changed my name, and become a hermit. Why do ANY of them still have jobs, and why does anybody with an ounce of intelligence listen to anything they bleat...I mean, say?

Matt Taibi did a piece a couple of weeks ago tracking the fortunes of pundits who were right and pundits who were wrong about IraqNam.

Without exception, all the idiots have either been promoted, kept their jobs, are still talking heads on TV and those who were right have been fired, have been demoted and are never heard from again on TV

It just makes it hard for those of us here on DU, and other liberals who have followed the predictions, which we disputed, then the reality as it unfolded, which was what WE had predicted, and the lack of mea culpas from the politicians and MSM, and their continuing to treat the ones who have been wrong as if what they have to say now should be treated seriously.

I feel bad for the pundits who were right all along, but were demoted or fired. Apparently, in Bush's Wonderland, telling the truth is a crime. Or just disagreeing with him, even when he's wrong is a crime. For him, though, instead of Wonderland, it's Never Never Land, and he's the boy who refuses to grow up.
