Really sick stuff:
My kid got tired of watching the primary stuff, so she changed the channel to these Winter X Games - LIVE!

The word the announcers use is 'carnage' when people crash on these outrageous ski slopes, and one poor gal is obviously seriously injured, I mean BADLY! BAD!

Anyway, they've been working on her for about 10+ minutes and she's really not moving much and they have about 15 people around her working furiously. Meanwhile, the idiot announcers keep calling the fall 'carnage' and it's just so frigging primitive! This lady could be paralyzed for life for all anyone knows, and they're horsing around, laughing and generally being cut-ups. This society is so degenerate...and I'm not picky, but just OUTRAGEOUS!

1. Pretty common fare in most sports announcing
The term carnage is applied in sports announcing from football to basketball to virtually everything else. Sometime it does indeed refer to human bloodshed, sometimes to the score. I pay little attention to it, since most sports announcing is so very lame anyway.

2. 15 people are 'working furiously for 10 min'...
... but 'being cut ups and horsing around'? That does not make sense. Carnage? It sounds as if they are as disturbed by it as you are...

7. I think many announcers...
...prohibition against dead air frequently turns them into jackasses.

4. They said she is reporting hip pain
So at least she's conscious. Hope she's okay. That was a terrible fall.

5. How insensitive
people can be ghoulish. I think half of sports is waiting to see the accidents happen. Say, NASCAR in particular and Bull fighting in general.

ABC Sports opening theme with the poor skier guy who tumbles end over end during "the agony of DEFEAT!" And, like, chunks of his skis are flying off and he's racking up compound fractures. Ugh.

edit to add: Da Da Da Daaaaaa...Da Da Da Da Da Da Daaaaaaa...Do Do Do Dooooo...got the theme in my head now.
