Is that a diss? I think so. It's a statement that you don't agree with the speaker. Have any of you ever refused to shake someone's hand because you don't like or agree with them. I have. I don't just do it for politeness, it's a form of respect.

1. Are you kidding? The dems were jumping up and down like Catholics.
Sit, stand, sit, stand, sit, stand...genuflect, stand, sit, stand, stand, stand, genuflect, plus a few moments of boredom and playing tic-tac-toe in their hymnals...er, program notes.

I was disgusted at how much the jumped up to applaud the treasonous bastard. And Nancy led the group, that is when she wasn't playing schnookie nookie with Cheney. Are those two dating now or something?

:puke:

I'm so ashamed of the Democratic leadership right now. They can't muster the spine to sit down and flip off an anti-constitution self-anointed dictator with the popularity of a hemorrhoid.

3. It was an ass-kiss-a-thon
I did not see any overt disrespect at all. I could not be a congressman. If I were sitting there, I would be booing.

4. Did you watch the feed from the MSM?
I ask because C-SPAN showed the DEMS mostly seating while the Rs were doing what you just described

17. Public Television was also "unbiased" in their coverage.
The Republics really got a workout tonight.

The Dems DID rise on occasion, but ONLY when Dumbya tried to claim one of our issues as his own or when he stated the obvious. Additionally, when they did clap, they were either half-hearted or painfully and obviously unimpressed.

I don't think I've been this disgusted since Chucklenuts got installed.

6. And the question becomes-
How do we get rid of them ALL and start over.
If someone could figure that one out, I'd dare to hope
for the future.
It's not looking good, is it?

10. They did everything but the wave.
I half expected to see four of them standing shirtless with "B-U-S-H" painted across their pasty-white pot bellies.

11. I counted 6 times where Nancy applauded before Cheney
and then got out of her seat before he even started to applaud.

I know he's old.

15. Good Dems
Good solid Dems. I couldn't believe the applause when he came out. Whada they nuts? I swear I don't know how he stayed alive during this presidency. Just goes to show that the GOP are the ones who plan and execute assassinations. I hate him.
