Bartcop nails it.
If Teddy had endorsed Hillary,
how many Chappaquiddick jokes would've been on the web this week?

1. So what? The chumps will always have their jokes.

I don't alter my decisions around stupid crap like that and I doubt Kennedy does either.

2. Sounds like a sneaky way of getting a Chappaquiddick joke in.
Now that he has endorsed Obama.

4. 40 years later and the nutjobs are still touching themselves about
Chappaquiddick. WTF? It's truly pathetic.

"I get it: Hillary is a part of the past but Ted Kennedy is not.
Hillary is symptomatic of everything that is wrong with Washington
but Teddy is not. Washington is broken but Teddy is not."

5. By the same logic, how many Monica jokes will Hillary
attract?

It makes no sense.

7. The Difference is Hillary can weather that storm
Edited on Tue Jan-29-08 09:32 PM by BeatleBoot
She's as tough as nails.

Obama hasn't seen 10% of what is about to be thrown at him.

He's a novice about to get hammered by the right wing Nazi scum.

You think the the Nazi scum are going to take it easy on him?

Nope. Hillary will take the shots and stand back up and keep fighting.

All the whining you've heard from Obama's campaign tells me that they are in the Junior Leagues.

Let the grown-ups handle this. They've been through it before and beat the Nazi scumbags - not once - but twice.

6. The same amount as when Kennedy and Kerry led the Alito filibuster
Edited on Tue Jan-29-08 09:28 PM by blm
and no other Dem senator would step up to the plate and do it - even after BOTH Senators begged other senators to lead it.

Kennedy went through a solid week of being the punching bag (lots of Chappaquiddick references) over Alito confirmation hearings and after he requested other senators to lead a filibuster. Kerry left for his economic summit for his finance committee duties. No senator would stand for Kennedy or with him - so Kerry had to announce he'd lead it from Davos and turned around and went back to DC.

Care to know WHICH Dem senators spoke AGAINST the filibuster in the Dem caucus?
