Should Democrats campaign on cutting Defense Spending?
Edited on Wed Jan-30-08 12:22 PM by Winterblues
America spends more on National Defense than all other countries combined and that doesn't even include Iraq war funding..Does anyone here think that is too damn much for killing? Also we spend almost as much on Interest on our debt as we do on defense. I think we could and should cut both of those expenses in half and National Health Care would be paid for..I guess that is too damn Liberal of a position in such a war mongering nation as America....

1. No but they should campaign on fiscal responsibility.
We've had much more success on our side with that than the "conservative" party and it's easily provable.

2. NO. Do it after we win. It's a LOSER for a campaign.
