Surgery on hold for a month

The orthopedic doctor believes my AC joint was injured when I had my fall. He wants to give it 3-4 weeks to continue to heal before going into my shoulder. That means no operation before the caucus. :-)

1. Great news
At least you know what the problem is and you finally have competent medical help.

Waiting to see if the shoulder heals the damage on its own is a good idea, if that wait time is done under the supervision of a good physician.

2. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing
I'm hopping around on a broken bone in my left foot just as the cracked tibia in my left leg started to heal completely. Some of us just can't win.

My eye surgery this year was postponed for a whole 6 months because the mega McHospital sat around with its thumbs up its ass deciding where to put the advanced lasering equipment. That killed my winter trip to Mexico very nicely. I have appointments in Feb and March and then I'll be free, just when the weather is starting to turn lousy where I want to go. Oh well, more time to learn Spanish.

3. Rest up and enjoy the down time. I feel your pain. :) And I'm glad
you have a bit more time to be up to it.
