Poll question: Have you chosen a candidate yet?
My support is still up for grabs but I like Obama, Edwards and Richardson. I guess I am slightly leaning toward Obama.

If Clark or Gore got in I would move into either of their camps.

If you have made your choice, list her/him below.

35. Story is that Gore knows how vicious the Clinton campaign
can be and this is one reason why is not in.

12. Same here, this is a silly exercise since
most of the candidates who have declared now are likely to be mortally wounded by a hostile press by the time the first primary is held.

People work their asses off for them, that's how. Don't like the choices in the GE?? Don't like the party platform? Then change the candidate. NOW.

15. Clark first, anyone else second (except Lieberman, of course)
I am not voting for the lesser of two evils (or two dozen, for that matter). I am voting FOR a man of proven skill and capability and, even more so, knows how to navigate the treacherous waters of the Beltway without living there.

If Clark does not run, I could probably support just about anyone who wasn't a RePuke, excepting Lieberman, of course. Of all the other possibilities I'd most prefer Al Gore who has taken the lead on what is probably the most serious threat to the world that we have faced since the Black Death.

On another topic, I disbeleive that Clinton or Obama have any serious chance of actually getting elected, even if either won the primary. Ditto, Kerry. Edwards might have a shot because, by golly, he's smart enough, rich enough, good looking enough, and people really, really like him. Whether or not he'd be anything like a capable Chief Exec? Beats me.

22. Either Obama or Edwards would be fine with me. Neither is perfect, but both are good.
Clark and Gore would join them, but it would still be so hard to choose. Dodd is slightly behind the top two, and Richardson is far behind. I won't vote for Kucinich, Biden, or Hillary. Gravel is only there to get his issues in the news, so having duly paid attention to his issues, I feel no compulsion to consider actually voting for him.

but I think he believes a battle with Hillary will be disastrous for the party. I also love Clark but for some reason the public has never taken him seriously. At the moment my heart and money are with Obama. I like the enthusiasm he brings to the disenfranchised and I like his position on most issues.

If PA's primary is as meaningless in 2008 as it was in 2004, I'll be writing in MY choice - John Kerry.

47. Yes and no, sorta
No I haven't. But you just named two of the people I'm hoping will enter. Not that I know which I'd pick, but they'd be two good ones.

Sadly they both look to be to busy doing what a president SHOULD be doing to campaign to actually get the job. Campaigning is such a damn distraction from the important work to be done.

Maybe the country will wise up and see that as a sort of non-campaigning campaign.
