Will * withhold documents from the next administration?
Will he claim "state secrets" as the reason for the next President not having access to some files? Lets face it, the only reason that most of these things are "state secrets" is because they will have evidence in them on just how complicit this administration is.

3. True, but I wonder if he will take those things with him
He has a year to get the evidence out of the WH. Or he could have a convenient fire like Cheney did. How much do you want to bet that the notes on the secret energy committee were burned in that fire?

13. He can't delete emails either, unless he does it before he leaves office.

5. From the public yes. But everything should be shared with the next administration.
At least in the grown-up world, thats the way it should be.

10. Depends on who is elected
If Hillary wins, he'll give her the evidence to sweep under the rug like Bill did for Poppy.

11. I believe Obama will do the same thing. I don't think that either
Democratic candidate will pursue investigations of Bush or undo many of his "rules" - just those whose undoing will make a good show...

12. You mean those documents that haven't been shredded?
I mean..."lost"

I'm sure Bush and Cheney both have made plans for any documents that might still exist that could incriminate them.

14. Will the next administration reverse Bush's decisions on secrecy? This should be an R issue!
Someone please ask the R candidates if they will reverse anything Bush has done on secrecy? What else will they reverse?

15. Documents? *Zzzzzzownt!*
What documents? *Nyyeeeaaaawaaaaawaan!*

"Rosemary, call Office Depot and have them send over another couple of heavy duty shredders!"

Even if a judge orders this corrupt administration to preserve its papers and electronic documents, they'll risk the 90 days in jail for disobeying the order, since the penalty they'd be liable to if everything came out would be far more substantial. Same thing as happened to the torture videotapes that were destroyed. Obstruction of justice is far preferable to crimes against humanity.

16. Of course he will. Those that 'must' be kept and not fed into the shredder.

17. In January 2009 there will be hundreds of computers with new hard drives.

Maybe even thousands. All the old HDD's will have been destroyed by that time.

BushCo will say they were all 'upgraded' but it will have been done to destroy evidence.

18. No need to.
The next administration will be doing the same things as * so they have no interest in exposing the crimes of 2001-2008.

Republican or Democrat, they will assist in suppressing the truth.

Did Gotti expose the crimes of Castellano? I think not.
