2. I was thinking about that this morning...
Usually the late states feel cheated that they don't have a say in our nominee. This year they may actually determine who it'll be and we'll end up with New Hampshire-style retail politics at the end. No matter who wins this has been a fascinating year.

3. We are a State of Eskimos and the ice is melting
Back when I first moved here - longer ago than the average age in this state - it occured to me that West Virginian's were much like the eskimos. I won't go into the reasons I had for why, they were foolish and are no longer amusing. What was true in the observation was that this was a poor state in which not much had changed in years.

Today, despite some superficial shine, this state is in as bad a shape as I've seen it. The ice is melting right out from under these eskimos, me too.
