Boxer and Kyle go at it - Reid joins and relieves Boxer, Kyl again...then Durbin calls it as he sees it - a do-nothing, obstructionist minority. Wait, wait - before they could shoot spit balls at each other, becore Kyl throws his timing chain, out comes Lautenberg to take time to go into a detailed account of the Super Bowl.

WTF? My friend from here, my friend from there, shit hitting the fan, the speeches way off topic...then we have a Quorum call. The system is so obviously broken that it will take much, much more than our favorite Dem in the white house to fix the mess. Has it always been like this? Did George have to put up with this nonsense at the outset? I guess I just don't get whatever weird choreography/skit that plays out in this forum....

and two things that infuriate me are
1. inane reference to local and regional sports team wasting time in Congress
2. opening sessions with a prayer
