I accept the gratitude of Freepers and Ditto-heads.....
....who are certainly thankful for leftist, mainstream, drive-by media outfits that exposed the mis-treatment of our wounded war heroes at Walter Reed Hospital. As it is solely our support of outlets like The Washington Post, New York Times and "Alphabet" TV news shows that keep them afloat- we are to be commended for the help that our vets are now receiving due to the scrutiny heaped on by the left-wing press. Not Fox News, or Rush or Hannity or O'Reilly or Beck acted to bring comfort to these heroes- it was the liberal press and its audience- like me.

You're Welcome.

2. Those aren't liberal media outlets. The story got out and they had no choice.
Why are you pretending those are left media outlets? You certainly worded this in an odd way that seems to emphasize that the RIGHT-lEANING media outlets are actually liberal when most of us know better than that.

Not very clever spin, imo.

to post the :sarcasm: pic.

I suspect that's because there is no "delicious irony"
one.

6. not so sure about that.....
to accept the post you have to accept that the WaPost and NYT and main networks are all left leaning when we all know they are nowhere near left.

4. "the word got out..."
Gosh how did that happen?

Here's a hint- lose the bitter. That chip will way you down and render you useless. You don't want to spend the revolution hunkered over a keyboard- do ya?

7. No. I just do not accept that the left has influence over the mainstream media.
and I am still not interested in your revolution. That hasn't changed the past three years, styersc.

8. Evolution takes time.
certainly we can find some common ground. Can we at least take the tiniest bit of pleasure in agreeing that the far right must have to swallow hard when faced with the hypocrisy of the mistreatment of our veterans by the Bushies et al., particularly when the news is served up to them by outlets that they claim are anti-vet.

Well if not- can we just appreciate a paper that carries Doonesbury.

Three years?- how do you remember that far back?

10. I have a GREAT memory.
If it hadn't been for a violent earthquake in California, my memory would still be photographic. But, it is still GREAT.

5. Hmmm. I just figured it was an ironic use of the old "liberal media" canard.
I guess I read it differently than you, I thought it was part of the humor. (I could certainly be wrong, though.)

9. I believe the intent was to present the freeps with a dilemma in their logic..
..thereby causing heads to explode all over mom's basement.

Reminds me of an old star trek episode.
