Can anything corrode the soul more than a constant barrage of lies? We have the Secretary of Treasury on C-SPAN at this very moment talking about a "dynamic economy". The economy is in the crapper. It's just that the smell has not reached all the way to the top yet. Lies !

We have John McCain and others talking about the "surge" as if it were some great victory. The attacks and deaths are back down to where they were before the total collapse or order last year? Lies!

No better than the lies about WMD's and nuclear weapons that got us into the mess in the first place. But we are making progress in Iraq. The people want us there. Lies !

The taxcuts that the Repubs want to make permanent have brought in more revenues to the Treasury because people pay more taxes when the economy is doing great. We have historic records of home ownership and employment. Never mind that the sub-prime rates were a scheme to give people that didn't have a pot to piss in a brand new home. Never mind that these taxcuts have not even produced one-third the jobs that were created in 8 years under Bill Clinton's Administration. Lies!
