I believe this to be true
the whole scheme of things being done today by bushco is for the sole purpose of ultimately breaking the federal government beyond its ability to continue our social programs, some if not all of which are vital to a prosperous democratic form of government. Even if they don't get their big war so as they can stay in power they at least will have left us in dire straits, deeply in depth and hated by most of the rest of the world. In that vein bushco has been very successful. I say burn the damn house down with them in it

2. I've always believed that Bushco and the GOP party
was always about raiding the treasury and destroying effective government.

3. Everything will soon be privatized and made mandatory
Health care, retirement, etc.

But I'm sure the defense budget stays hands off.

4. I hope what happens is people wake the hell up and do something about all this
when overreaching as this duo, bush/cheney has, they always risk overstepping and thats what may be happening, 67% opposed to bush in a recent cnn poll, after all.

5. It's just the never ending loop
If anything, as long as we have cheap enough energy to hold things together, what Bushco is doing will result in the growth of government programs. Which then will allow corporations to acquire more power, which will then give government the ability to increase its control, etc, etc. Both entities compete against each other, but corporations lose when they go head to head for the title, because there is only one government, but multiple corporations(corporations are actually fighting a multi-front battle, the government, and themselves). That's why corporations merge. That's why, at some point, the government and corporations must consolidate into the same thing, since that would be most efficient on the huge scale that both work on. Look at all the energy that is wasted because they're going back and forth for power. It works the same way with the single payer/universal healthcare. If you put everyone into the same system, there would be less waste, and all the other reasons we'll get it eventually. If corporations and governments stop being different forms of organization, and are the same form of organization, then that form of organization will have more power over people than any in history. Which is exactly what each form of organization wants anyway.

It's not about breaking the federal government. It's not about breaking corporations either. It's about integrating the two. You think we have environmental problems now...just wait for this centuries long process to finish, then you'll see a show.
