The whole "McCain's bad language" bullshit. I know I have heard (and read) that evangelicals have poo-pooed Bush's bad language and still accept him as a holy and righteous leader. Why, I ask, is Bush able to use foul language and get away with it, while McCain is chastised by a religious right leader for it?

Please, help me out here. Is there anything (to these nutjobs) that Bush doesn't do right? I swear, if he were caught screwing a sheep on the White House lawn, Dobson and his ilk would find a "reasonable explanation" for Bush's behavior.

 :silly: :wtf: :banghead:

2. Whatever, he's the worst case scenario for us
so let them bash the hell out of him for whatever reason. Bush is soon to be history, for worse or for worser.

4. It bothers me because I don't get it
and when one of our candidates is in office, they'll be saying the same kind of shit. Bush uses foul language, but he's okay. McCain, Obama, or Clinton use it, then they're immoral. It just boggles the mind.

5. Well, McCain is on record for screaming "Fuck You, Asshole" to most of
his colleagues at one point or another, so I can sort of see Dobson not liking that--I don't know that Bush swears that much in public (Cheney does). But the whole Repub/evangelical nexus is full of wackadoodles--why let it bother you? Who cares why they do what they do to each other? I'm just glad to see them in meltdown mode.

7. Bush is the Second Coming of Christ. He could publically rape and
murder little boys on the WH lawn and the fundies wouldn't care.

8. Yes, that's the way they view him
And I have to work with a lot of nutjobs like this. I have to hear all the time how "immoral" Dems are, yet Bush can do anything he damn well pleases and he is a "Godly man." Drives me nuts.

9. Dobson should
stuff a sock in it!!

I respect John McCain for his service and the fact he was held in a North Vietnam prison for 5 years, for this alone he merits our respect for his service to the nation.

Does not mean he should be elected president though (he should not).

I will be so glad when Obama is elected president!!
