"Draft Gore" folks out in force today at Michigan Democratic Party convention.
I was very impressed by the "Draft Gore" showing today. They worked the congressional district caucuses and the main convention floor. People readily took their bumperstickers and buttons. Good job to the "Draft Gore" folks! Well done!
I was one of those Gore people. Sorry we didn't meet. I love meeting DUers. You should post this in the Michigan and Al Gore for '08 groups, too. We could use more activity in both of those groups.

"Draft Gore" was the most prominent group there today, by far. I didn't see much for anyone else, especially Hillary. Dave Bonior did speak to us about John Edwards. I like Dave. Good man.
That's my district and Bonior spoke, as it's his home district. I don't know if he spoke anywhere else. We may have been in the same room and not known it. If you want info about our next meeting if you're in the 12th or elsewhere in SE Michigan, let me know or check it out on meetup.
John Dingell's district. Dave came over to speak. You should have heard John speak on impending global warming legislation. He said he told companies on global warming, "Work with us or you will get something you really don't like." He's the Energy and Commerce committee chair now.
