1. Cheney: Iraq War A "Remarkable Achievement"
Cheney warned that "all options" are on the table if Iran continues to defy U.N.-led efforts to end Tehran's nuclear ambitions, leaving the door open to military action.

Cheney's support for the Iraq war _ he is considered one of the key proponents of the 2003 invasion _ drew protesters into Sydney's streets for two days.

2. Yeah, but just look at the FREEDOM they're enjoying.
They're free to live their lives out from under the shadow of a brutal dictator. :patriot:

They're free to pack up and leave their homeland as refugees to escape the violence. They're free to die from sectarian violence, starvation, disease or as "collateral damage" from "coalition" forces. I guess Rumsfeld was right. Sometimes "freedom is messy". :grr:

Yes, the look of freedom in the Iraqis eyes is worth every penny we've spent on this war. There's no way they'll ever be able to repay our country for the glorious freedom we've given them. :sarcasm:

Is it no wonder a majority of Iraqis wish they could return to the days of Saddam's rule?

3. Pre-War Webcam Memories...
As the war drums were beating...several webcams popped up around Baghdad that showed a city on edge, but definitely not the disaster it is now. Electricity was flowing 24/7 and people moved about freely...even in the days leading up to the taking of Baghdad. I didn't get to see the troops enter the city as most of the cameras were blown up in the "shock & awe" phase that signaled a death warrant to this historic city.
