was ranting about how Huckabee was a BAD governor and would be a BAD president. Listed were all the things that conservatives would hate-raising taxes, taking away local control of schools, plus some of the few progressive things he did. Note, please, that this was posted in Arkansas, his home state, in the most Republican part of the state. Thought this might give some comfort to those who fear Huckabee might be a more palatable candidate to conservatives.

1. Well, he did already win the Arkansas Republican primary. So,
Republicans there don't hate him much...

Also, since conservatives tend to hate both McCain and Huckabee, yet they are the ones winning everything; it would appear that the conservatives in the Republican Party are no more powerful than the progressives are in the Democratic Party...

3. You could be right, but
if the conservatives go Libertarian instead of GOP this time, it can only help our cause. That's why I see signs like this as helpful signals that all is not well with the Republicans.

4. I gotcha. The Republicans do seem to be in a terrible disarray.
If all of the in-fighting that appears to be going on is real, then it does bode well for the country. But, like vampires, they need to be treated in a certain way...to be sure... ;)

2. I sure hope you are correct....
with the current makeup of the SCOTUS, and the next prez's potential to appoint new ones a Huckabee presidency would flush Church/State separation right down the toilet...
