in Politics Bush Prince Bandar properties

Remember that cozy relationship of Prince Bandar and President Bush? Late last year as things began to heat up for the Bush administration and everyone was "jumping ship" this article appeared in the Aspen Times in regards to Prince Bandar selling his Aspen suburb property for 36.3 million.

According to an article at Raw Story yesterday, a federal judge has frozen some of Prince Bandar's assets in America due to a lawsuit filed by BAE systems shareholders. BAE is the world's third largest defense contractor.

Raw Story: "Press reports said BAE paid two billion dollars in bribes to the prince with staggered payments, a furnished Airbus A340 and a honeymoon for his daughter.

BAE has not denied the payments and in September US shareholders saying they had been injured filed suit against BAE executives and Prince Bandar."

Wikipedia: "BAE Systems is involved in several major defence projects, including the F-35 Lightning II, the Eurofighter Typhoon and the Royal Navy Queen Elizabeth class aircraft carriers. The company has been the subject of criticism, both general opposition to the arms trade and also specific allegations of unethical and corrupt practices, including the Al Yamamah contracts with Saudi Arabia that have earned BAE and its predecessor £43 billion in twenty years.

4. I'm just amazed when any thing pastes
Oh, a miracle! I highlighted what I thought was a link but it never showed up. Anyhow I believe keeping Bush's Saudi connection alive and well in all of our minds is the important thing. On the Goggle page there was a story I didn't click saying Prince Bandar accuses the US of creating 9/11. He should know. There are such dirty dealings afoot. We can only imagine.

I'll keep on keeping on, until someday I get it right. Nice to have a big brother around, I'm the big sister in my family.

6. that is the biggest challenge to me
I got a printer/scanner and thought all I had to do was scan the pictures and up load them into photobucket. Little did I know there were pixels and the number mattered. God, I'm dumb about this crap. I'm a political junkie trapped in a body that should be wearing a helmet.:silly:

8. I don't know about # of pixels, either.
I usually try to go through the scanning process, then I try to hook up my camera to the computer. It always works somehow. Then it magically goes into the "My Pictures" folder.

Did you figure out how to get your pictures onto Photobucket? Miss HoneyChurch explained it to me and I finally got it right. Let me know and I'll try to collect enough brain cells together to explain it to you!
