John Edwards seeking re-election

John Edwards recently announced his run for re-election as Cadron Township Constable.

Edwards, a democrat, has served three terms, the last two consecutively. He served with the Faulkner County Mounted Patrol in the 1980s and the Sheriff's Reserve in the early '90s. Edwards also served one year as a bailiff and part-time deputy in 1984.

Edwards is a Life Member of the National Rifle Association and a Vietnam-era Air Force veteran. He is married and currently employed at Wal-Mart on Harkrider.

Edwards believes only a working constable can be effective and supports community involvement in protecting our children, taking drugs off our streets and ending gang activity.

Edwards expressed a desire to thank everyone for their past support and confidence in him and ask that voters come out in force for the May primary because their votes are needed once again.
