Summary: It's okay for me to post sexually demeaning misogynistic tripe about a woman. It's wrong when the right does it. I'm just doing it myself here as a demonstration of how wrong it is when conservatives do it. When the right does it, they think it's funny because they are hypocrites. When I do it, I think it's funny because because I have a good sense of humor.

Nowhere, and I mean NOWHERE, did I say it was "wrong" for the rightwingers to post the picture. In fact, if you can read at all, the commentary at the top says the picture was coming out in "PEOPLE Magazine". The hypocrisy was in Matt Drudge's comments about Chelsea being "caught in an erect state" and saying that "her face showed evidence of 'bedroom pleasures'", yet the rightwingers were perfectly ok with pictures of Jenna drunkenly acting the way she was. Not to mention the pictures of Jenna & Not Jenna engaging in underaged drinking in a bar. The right wingers were appalled, not at the actions of the twins, but that someone dared to print the pictures, especially in the National Enquirer... you know, the first place that got anthrax and someone died?

There was absolutely NOTHING wrong with the picture as it appeared in PEOPLE Magazine. The "arrows" and commentary is a humorous analogy of what the hypocritical right wing thinks was wrong, then again, humorously, points out "rightwinger" thinking that the Bush daughters are innocent little angels who were "just letting loose" for a while.

I hope that clears things up for you a bit, though I know it probably won't. Having interacted with you before, I know when you are on one of your femi-nazi crusades.

I don't understand how some people don't get the satire or humor in this. Memo to those without a sense of humor: pull the stick out of your butt and start enjoying some of the amusing things in life a little bit.

The picture is from People magazine, sans comments. Drudge took the picture and made some rather lewd remarks about Chelsea, just as Rush did years ago when Bill was in the white house.

They made Chelsea sound like an animal (dog) and now, they want to say she's a whore. The general gist of the thing.

Well, this website (Dirt, I believe?) has decided to parody Drudge and the whole right wing, by taking their mindset, and seeing just what they think is in that particular, completely NON-offensive picture. THAT's what the picture is saying, AND, just so no one else gets confused, DIRT sounds like it's very much to the left and is of the same mold as other great parody sites, especially The Onion, which is just better known.

If Chelsea saw the picture and saw where it was from, she would likely laugh, having a good sense of humor herself.
