as a Republican? I enjoyed watching his sharp elbows when he played ball, but I don't much care for those who use their celebrity to shape opinions in the political world, all the while shifting in the wind.

in the past he supported Bush and toyed with running as a Republican. Now he has pithy negatives comments about those he once persuaded those who respected him to vote for. Sorry. I don't have time or respect for those who twist with the political wind.

From what I read he has been a Dem for about 3 years. I call that opportunism.
