The Baby Boomer Karma Dream.
Edited on Sat Feb-16-08 09:32 PM by kentuck
There was Eisenhower and Howdy Doody.
There was Pinky Lee who lived in a tree.
There was Marilyn Monroe and Jayne Mansfield.
And Elvis and Jerry Lee.
There was JFK and LBJ.
There was the '51 Ford and the '55 Chevy.
There were Jukeboxes and Hulahoops.
There was John Wayne and Castro.
There was James Dean and Bubblegum.
There was Roy Rogers and Trigger.
There was Television and Rock & Roll.
There was Mickey Mantle and the NY Yankees.
There was Evil Knievel and Johnny Unitas.
Then there is the point that this post.
Is totally meaningless.
Except.
That it is not.
Because, for just a few seconds.
You dropped your guard.
And let Karma do its job.

peace

I LOVED the Soupy Sales Show.....because..."It's the National Jello week...tell everybody you know....and don't don't don't let the week go by without.....j-E-L-L-ohhhhhh." (I even named a cat Pookie! In honor of the whistling lion). Great laughs, that show!!!! Thanks for the reminder!

9. Sometimes wisdom can only come with age...
We cannot look at such things when we are young and immortal.

11. Your karma kicked me in the rear with hobnail boots.
I just got the flu. So have a bunch of my friends. I was late to work and my boss got mad.

Karma can be negative, you know, and I think I got all the negative karma from the angry Hillary sniping going on around here.

Karma is a dangerous, unpredictable, deadly thing to play around with. Please don't do it again. Thank you.
