3. Sperk, I admit your man looked great tonight
He has a lot of class, and he's brilliant. Now, if only he would run for president again; we'd be in
good shape.:toast:

Please Come to Boston lyrics by KENNY CHESNEY

Please come to Boston for the springtime
I'm staying here with some friends
And they've got lots of room
You can sell your paintings on the sidewalk
By a cafe where I hope to be workin' soon
Please come to Boston.
She said, no, boy you come home to me.

And she said, Hey, ramblin boy why don't you settle down
Boston ain't your kind of town
There ain't no gold, and ther ain't nobody like me
I'm the number one fan of the man from Tennessee.

Please come to Denver to see the snowfall
We'll move up into the mountains so far we can't be found
And throw I love you echos down the canyon
And then lie awake at night until they come back around
Please come to Denver.
She said, No boy, you come home to me.

And she said, Hey, ramblin' boy why don't you settle down
Denver ain't your kind of town
There ain't no gold, and there ain't nobody like me
I'm the number one fan of the man from Tennessee.

Now that drifters word goes round and round
And I doubt it's ever gonna stop
But of all the dreams I've lost or found and all that I ain't got
I need someone to cling to, somebody I can sing to.

Please come to L.A. and live forever
California life alone is just too hard to build
I live in a house that looks out over the ocean
And there's some stars that fell from the sky
Livin' up on the hill. Please come to L.A.
She just said, No, boy you come home to me.

And she said, Hey, ramblin' boy why don't you settle down
L.A. ain't your kind of town
There ain't no gold, and ther ain't nobody like me
I'm the number one fan of the man from Tennessee.

I'm the number one fan of the man from Tennessee...

Please come to DC to live forever
American life alone is just too hard to build
You can live in a house that looks out over the roses
And there's some brass that fell from grace
Livin' up on the hill
Please come to DC
She just said Oh Boy you look at home to me!

14. Put up your dukes! I've been crazy about the guy since his earth tone days!
Edited on Sun Feb-25-07 11:41 PM by Sperk
he's broken my heart twice...well, HE really didn't in 2000 but it was broken none the less. And then I cried like a little girl when he didn't run in 2004. Will he be cruel enough to break my heart once again? For you Al, I'll take my chances..:loveya:

16. I've already mailed a letter to his office in Nashville...
...telling him to just go ahead and run, already. All he has to do is drop some of his anti-gun rhetoric and he is Good. To. Go. He could wipe the floor with both Clinton and Obama combined.

20. I definitely want him in!
But why not wait until a couple of weeks before NH or Iowa (or whatever's first these days) and announce then - he'll be able to raise mega-bucks in a heartbeat.

(I hate, hate, hate how our Prez elections now take up TWO YEARS! Ridiculous...)
