Building the Progressive List-

I'm interested in building a list of Progressive Candidates, running for the House, or the Senate, or even sate and local races. I've done the Google, and I've found nothing like what I'm looking for. I'm of the theory that a Progressive government begins at home, in our own back yards.

I've found no list on line, anywhere, so I thought I'd ask for help from DU. Who is a Progressive Candidate or incumbent running in your neck of the woods? I'd love to see a link to them. I'll start with links to a few Progressive Dems I know are running:

I'm interviewing for a job in Boone Co with the Dem party this Tuesday. So I'm looking forward to actual meeting her.

I agree on refocusing our resources, but why do they have to pretend Iran is a threat?

Gawd, I didn't think it would be this tough to just find out who congressional reps are and who are Progressives in our own backyards.

we had Mark Green, but he left politics. A progressive is merely someone afraid to call themselves a liberal. Lots speak well of Nadler, as a liberal, but he is not my my backyard. The Liberal Party got trashed when they started calling any Republican with enough bribe (excuse, me I mean influence money) -- so that they could be called a liberal.


Now, New York city is basically the Wild West; with, buildings, skyscrapers falling down from decay, crime (9/11), etc. Basically, hell on earth.

I am looking for genuine peace candidates that will cut the funding to Iraq and the bullshit war on terror.

We need Representatives that will vote for Kucinich as speaker of the house.

We need an entire congress made up of people who will cut the funding to the war in Iraq and entire war on terror, and sign on to HR676 Single payer health care.

Building new, alternative energy sources will help reduce our need for oil (one of our main reasons for the Iraq war), and will also take an important first step toward reducing the threat of global warming. While so much focus is overseas, we cannot ignore the millions of Americans without healthcare. Providing quality, affordable healthcare for all is a goal we must achieve over the next four years.
