Would Impeachment of George Save Us From Jeb? Have We Had Enough Bushs??
The country is sick of this war in Iraq. Sick of our soldiers dying. Sick of our government lying to us about why we are there and when we are leaving. Sick of Dick Cheney and Rumsfeld and the whole cast of incompetent characters in the White House.

Just like it takes a quarter to measure how badly the economy has dipped, the news media seems to take an extended time to accurately reflect the displeasure of the public with all things Bush.

If George were impeached it would put the issues unavoidably on the front page, and would show that the country as a whole rejects the latest Bush incarnation.

It just might save us from another Bush stepping into the breach, Jeb.

However, can we afford to spend so much time and effort on something that will not result in Bush being removed from office, and which will prevent the us from using the time and resources to address the numerous dangers created by Bush.

1. I don't think it would take that
IMO Jebby hasn't a snowballs chance in hell of being President now. The bush name is completely screwed for at least the next 10 to 15 years. For a country with the attention span of a gnat as ours is that's a lifetime.

5. He might very well run in 2016 however.
A lot can happen in that time, but it is possible.

2. Let's see how far a Dem ex-president gets in his efforts to rehabilitate Poppy Bush
and his image before we believe AGAIN that Poppy Bush is without power as we did in Jan 1993.

3. I think we need to hold the government accountable
and impeach the sons of bitches! But it won't happen without everyone personnally taking action toward this. We need to be writing our Congressmen every day on this issu.

6. Losing In '94 Cost Jebbie His Shot...
The story has floated that the BFEE has wanted Jebbie as their golden boy initially, but when he lost in '94 the PTB took a closer look and saw numbnutz as a better stalking horse...far easier to manipulate than Jebbie. Also, asshat's "religious" network was far better established than Jebbies...thus the "axis" shifted...especially when junior won in Texas.

After the past 6 (and then it'll be 8 years) of mismanagement and destruction of the Repugnican party, I suspect the boooosh name will be poison for a long time to come. Jebbie actually has a braincell that functions and could see "booooosh fatigue" had set in after the '04 elections...probably even did the polling and we have heard little from him since.

He's now tarred by not just a failed fukstick brother who will easily be remember as the worst president ever, but also by a party that numbnutz's triangulation has the "big tent" folding like a deck of cards. the name bush will be alongside Harding, Hoover, Grant, Poppy Bush and Buchanan as the greatest failures and embarassment...and the booooosh name will be political poison.

7. Depends on the outcome of impeachment
After all, President Clinton was impeached, and now there is another Clinton who is a very strong presidential candidate.

8. Yes, but
people didn't want Clinton impeached. Most of the people that I knew then thought it was stupid and wasteful, and polls confirmed that.

Compare Bush's approval rating now to Clinton's during and after impeachment.
