just saw a tv commercial on CNN bashing the House for not passing immunity bill

wonder if this is bankrolled by the telecom industries?

It was all very ominous and well produced, running on a local TV channel. It didn't name FISA specifically, but it said stuff like, "The law that lets the FBI spy on Al Queda EXPIRED because Representatives including JERRY MCNERNEY voted to TAKE A VACATION instead of voting to pass a bill to renew it. Call Representative McNerney and tell him to DO HIS JOB and protect America from terrorism!"

That's paraphrased, and the caps denote emphasis by the speaker, but it was obviously intended to induce the TERRA!TERRA!TERRA! fear factor. Did I mention that pictures of Bin Laden flashed by on the screen as McNerneys name was mentioned?

I didn't catch the name of the group bankrolling the commercials, but it was obviously some Rethug front group.
