New Study Says Immigrants Make Neighborhoods Safer
At least in California:

This contradicts the rantings of some of the fear mongers on the issue of undocumented workers.

PS---Personally, I agree with Thom Hartmann that this is an illegal employer problem (as opposed to an "illegal immigrant" problem), but that's more on the economic side of things.

2. since they're illegal immigrants
wouldn't that mean that they won't report crime, for fear of getting deported? This study sounds seriously flawed. There's a difference between crime rates based on reported crimes, and actual levels of crimes.
