2. Yes, everybody must wear this cheap, ugly foreign made
piece of absolute crap to identify with the hive.

Fuck 'em. It clashes with everything I own, especially my thoughts on surface patriotism that supports men who are destroying this country and all it has ever stood for.

3. I wore one when my son was in the Oersian Gulf during GW1, but
Shrub's actions in office have made me ashamed of the actions of the US. Maybe the day will come again when I can show pride and wear a pin, but I can guarantee you it won't be before Shrub and his criminals are GONE!

19. He was behind enemy lines
I assume you're talking about his appearance on Bill Maher's HBO Show.

If the infidels in the audience realized that he loved his country they would have torn him from limb to limb.

:sarcasm: (In case you couldn't tell)

10. What Makes More Sense
Wear one and trash this country every way you know how or not wear one and try to help each other, try to save the planet and seek out peace, not war? Which way really shows ones patriotism? A pin, a flag can be a simple thing to do but really what does it prove? Get out there, roll up your sleeves and do something seems to make more sense(unless your patriotism seems to get stronger whenever the cameras are rolling!

11. I'd appreciate it if you wore something covering your top, and something covering your bottom
Edited on Thu Feb-28-08 07:42 PM by ProgressiveFool
Other than that, it's up to you.

edit: I think we should bring back the practice of wearing hats. It seems like up until the 60's or so, everyone always wore a hat.

13. After 9/11 I tried to find a "earth" pin
because all the jingoism and flags were making me crazy since I correctly knew what it was leading up to (a war somewhere). I could NOT find one anywhere. I thought a little pin with the planet earth would be a subtle counter statement.

20. Try Peace Pins online, and Progressive Portal (links)
http://www.deltaspark.com/peacepins/

This page has Earth pins http://www.deltaspark.com/peacepins/pins.html

This page also has Earth lapel pins http://www.progressiveportal.org/resources/pins.html?ref

Someone was selling them at one of our rallies 5 years ago and I bought several different kinds.
