GROW UP PEOPLE!!
Cali is getting ripped for making a post that I guess started a flame war a few weeks ago. Cali had no idea that happened.

I didn't know anything about this house till Cali's post.


You know, Maybe some of us don't spend every waking moment on DU. Some of us miss a few things here and there. So it's always not so bad that some things come back up once and a while.

I am sick of people tearing into someone because they bring up a topic. If you don't want to discuss the topic or you already did another time, then skip that thread. Go read something else.

And, FWIW, when starting inflammatory topics such as this, it is probably a good idea to use the search feature. That way you won't get flamed for rehashing crap that is a month old.

12. Perhaps you're right.
Perhaps I should have done a search, but I didn't know it was inflammatory. I didn't log onto DU for over a month. Clearly that must have been the period where this brouhaha happened. As a matter of fact, I posted it because I saw a Diary on 'kos this morning about it, that connected to the article I posted. Had I known that such a food fight would have ensued, I wouldn't have posted it. I like Edwards. Although I haven't settled on a candidate; he's up there for me.

11. It takes a strong individual to realize that not everything is ...
earth-shattering, and not every post need an answer.

I have seen brilliant posts on DU, and I have seen foolishness abound, most fall in between the two extremes. I have found that those who thrive on the trivial lead some pretty boring lives. The best thing to do is to just let the poster of trivial argument post, and then allow that post to just wallow...:)
