US Vets to Testify About War Crimes They Committed or Witnessed 28 Feb 2008 U.S. veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are planning to descend on Washington from Mar. 13-16 to testify about war crimes they committed or personally witnessed in those countries. "The war in Iraq is not covered to its potential because of how dangerous it is for reporters to cover it," said Liam Madden, a former Marine and member of the group Iraq Veterans Against the War.

My will is so strong to see them at the ICC that I think it might even add some years to my life if it takes a while to get them charged. Oh and its going to be so much fun when it does happen and I see no ifs there either.:-)

These guys need support. Remember, for many righties and right leaning dems, the exaltation of the soldier/hero is crucial in maintaining belief in the corporate/state propaganda. So when the "hero's" themselves come forward and claim otherwise, it has a way of pulling the rug out from under that particular collective belief structure.
