Co., based in goshen. According to the report "each showed statistically significantly higher levels of formaldehyde than the other travel-trailer strata combined.”
Steve Bennett, president of Pilgrim International, of Middlebury, said Monday that the company is "working with Congress" on the issue.
"Congress requested information and we provided information to Congress," he said. "We built the trailer to government specifications. We will cooperate with any information they desire."
He declined further comment.
Travel trailers were divided into seven strata by the Centers for Disease Control: The top six brands, including the three Indiana companies, and a combination of all other travel-trailer brands supplied by FEMA.
