LOL Bush dancing- waiting for McCain-MSM covers as usual
http://thinkprogress.org/2008/03/05/bush-dances-again/

Today, President Bush is meeting with Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) for lunch at the White House, where he is expected to endorse his presidential bid. He was so excited for the meeting that, while waiting for McCain to arrive, Bush stood outside on the North Portico and entertained the press corps by tap dancing, doing a goofy walk, winking, and smiling. Watch it:

1. More
THE WHITE HOUSE -- President Bush had rolled out the red carpet for John McCain, emerging onto the North Portico of the White House, where he usually meets foreign leaders, to greet the new Republican nominee.

Only, McCain wasn't there.

"So, anyway," Bush said to the assembled reporters, there to see him shake McCain's hand. "As I was saying..."

Still, no McCain.

Someone yelled a question.

"He's gonna win," Bush said, adding, "There will be ample time for questions."

He smiled a bit, but no McCain. He did a mock soft shoe dance. "I'm just going to tap dance a little," the leader of the free world said.

He looked around. Then he looked at his staff.

"Who should be his VP?"

"There will be ample time for questions," he said.

"There's ample time now," a reporter said.

Still no McCain.

"Let's start over," an amused Bush told the reporters, turning on his heels and heading back into the White House. "Pretend like it never happened."

A minute later, a small, black Cadillac entered through the gates, Bush reemerged, and out strode John McCain and his wife Cindy. Bush shook McCain's hand, gave Cindy a peck on the cheek, and the three
went into the White House for lunch.

4. Grandpa Looked Sedated...
If this creature has an iota of self dignity left, he musta been cringing having to stand next to the most despised pResident of all time but forced to do so. The reason? $$$$$. Grandpa spent the inheritance and needs the BFEE to come to his rescue...cause he surely will violate the public financing he once championed and need to raise boatloads of cash to keep his campaign competitive.

This guy can't think this presser did his campaign any good. His assholiness was an indignant pissant, as usual, and only reminded those who could stomache watching what a disaster these past 7 years have been. But, as always, the corporate media swooned.

9. That's what watching handlers are for...
Eight friggin years and they still can't get the protocol timing down! Everyone knows that image is everything when the leader of a country ever meets anyone publicly. You don't fracking make a leader stand around and cool his heals in front of the press, even if that press is friendly.

They obviously have the attitude that they can spit on tradition too, not just on the Office. You expect this ignorance and faux pas to be done by people who are foreigners, but he's acting like a stupid tourist in his own country.

10. Turned on the TV
just as "the dance" came on. For a few seconds it looked as though the camera had caught him squirming on his way to the bathroom. Sometimes I really like my habit of keeping it on mute . . .
