UN Report: One-Third of Iraqis Now Live in Poverty, 5% in Extreme Poverty

"18 February 2007 – From a thriving middle income economy in the 1970's and 1980's, one third of today's Iraqi population lives in poverty with more than 5 per cent living in extreme poverty, a new United Nations-backed study says."

1. Bush did bring US style democracy to Iraq
We also have a bit more than 5% of our people living in extreme poverty.
Wow, we weren't give Bush enough credit

2. Think about that, 1% is 3 million, that's 15 million people!
:cry: And what's sad is that even the middle class makes just enough to survive another day.

3. the actual number is 16 million in the US.
as I said more than 5%.
