McCain To Speak At Secretive Conservative Society
From Huff

Sen. John McCain, in his post-victory debut before the conservative movement's top donors and leaders, will address the Council for National Policy's annual winter meeting here today.

"This is the most distinguished collection of conservative leaders and donors, and he was anxious to appear as part of his ongoing effort to consolidate support for his candidacy within the conservative movement," said Charlie Black, Mr. McCain's campaign advise

Can you just imagine the conversation -

McLame; I promise to take the social out of security, I promise to gut the public schools, I promise to expose the myth of climate change, I promise to give the government the right to regulate the wimmens reproductive choices, I promise to make the USA safe for the Christian While Male, I promise the destroy all unions and that pesky middle class.... Vote for me?

Conservative leaders: You are our Man!!!

And they talk of attendees being "conservative leaders and donors" They forgot the media moguls, how else are they going to coordinate the spewing points? Maybe they will hatch the next "swift boat liars" there.

1. The Underworld...
So what's new? This is the welfare system that funds the right wing hate machines. This is like Vic Damone going to the Godfathers and asking for their blessings. I'm sure booooshie and dole and poppy and raygun have done the same...it's needed to get the support of the underworld that has been really controlling the GOOP for years.

But Gramps has some cards now...and I wonder if he'll try to play it. They're stuck with him more than visa versa. If they want to maintain their power and access to our treasury, he's their meal ticket. It's a dance of the scorpions as neither side trusts one another but must mate to ensure the species endures.

Remember...Gramps will need $250 million to buy off the corporate media and he's just going to the bank and seeing how many he can shake down or out. Methinks Gramps will use a fear card here...fear of "libruls"...fear of uppity women or people of color or gays...whatever it takes to get that $2300 check.

2. you are so correct
once they see he is their only choice, all factions will come together, certainly laying low for now, so our candidates can beat each other into bloody stumps.
