Wild elephants hold up Sri Lanka vote
This is just for amusement, but where have we seen this before?

COLOMBO (AFP) - Security forces armed with loud hailers were deployed in eastern Sri Lanka Monday to drive away wild elephants blocking access to polling booths, police said.

4. I appreciate the analogy, good joke, but what a better world we would live in
if nature was so valued that, rather than being exterminated as was done here, elephants (mammoths in the local variant) or moose or bears or bison had survived outside of a few protected regions and roamed free and occasionally disrupted our daily routine. It would mean we valued all life, and I'd trade that my own.
