Don't Micromanage the War? Are you kidding me?
Wanting some answers about billions in missing money is micromanaging the war? Wanting some say in controlling this runaway war disaster is micromanaging the war? Wanting answers and accountablility for more stupid mistakes than anyone thought possible is micromanaging the war?

Ye Gads. And Goldfishes.

1. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. And Condi is accidentally right here.
Congress shouldn't micromanage the war. Congress should revoke the IWR. Terminate funding. Bring the troops home immediately.

3. Well, there is that.
Just shut her down and bring em all home.

I used to think that after what we did to the Iraqis that we owed them big time not to just pull out and leave them.

And I still feel that way. But I think this civil war is so out of control at this point that our being there or not being there isn't going to make much difference. Our presence may really be making things worse.

2. The Micromanager In Chief wants to Micromanage our lives...
Sneak and peek, wire taps, opening our mail, snooping into our medical and financial records and even snooping into what we read and think.

5. Never trust anyone who says "trust me."
He is definitely a control freak.

I think he is just the oddest guy. They don't seem to be in control of anything in Iraq. Not the money. Not the violence. Not anything. Everything was absolutely slipshod.

But they want to control everything in this country.

6. Just don't leave Bush and Co. to their own devices.
They are simply a disaster when it comes to doing anything. I don't understand how they could have been wrong on absolutely everything but they have been. And disasterously wrong.

7. Let's see..The "World's Mightiest Military" is getting whipped. Could something be wrong?
140,000 well-trained, superbly equipped, highly protected, American troops with air and artillery support, and 360,000 local troops, trained by the Americans, are getting their asses kicked by a few thousand ill-equipped, unprotected, guerrillas with no air support or artillery...

Hell, even Ford Motors was bright enough to discontinue the Edsel when it flopped.

8. Think how the guys in the military must feel about that.
Would help if they actually had the equipment they need - and the manpower.

9. It would help the world if they were brought home and discharged.
The Pentagon is awash in money thanks to the efforts of their pals, and future employers, the "defense" lobby. Peter Pace was whining about the Pentagon being unable to fulfill it's mission due to lack of equipment and troops.

The problem is that nobody questions the necessity of the "mission" of the military that requires so many troops and so much expensive but useless equipment in a guerrilla war that shouldn't be fought.
