The lie that says the GOP is strong on national defense still permeates everything, though the loss of 3,160 American soldiers, combined with the grievous wounding of between 47,000 and 53,000 American soldiers, amounts to the evisceration of between a fourth and a third of our entire active fighting force, which makes us safer in no way that can be fathomed.
