I think that guilty or not guilty, the Libby verdict will just fizzle
With our short attention span, with so many news stories coming up fast, with Libby's trial is not about leaking Plame's name but about lying or "not remembering," I suspect that only political junkies, like us would discuss it.

Its much to important to let slip away, but like you, I fear it will do just that.

4. this is a minor slap on the wrist for a minor player in a HUGE scandal
Best case, Libby is convicted, appeals eat up the next year and a half, then king george pardons him.

I think the repukes have insulated their own to avoid another massive repukes-only scandal.

It should be a crime to be a repuke.
