Good news at Bear Stearns
BEAR STEARNS COS THE(NYSE: BSC)
Last Trade: 4.84

52wk Range: 26.85 - 159.36

We are looking at a stock that has been as high as $159 a share in the past year. The small investor can now hope to sell his holdings for $4.84 a share. The small investor with a lot of BSC in his Retirement Account should only have to postpone his retirement for 15 or 20 years.
The way they are carrying on you'd think it was the end of the world.

But it's not as bad as it seems. I'm sure we are thankful that the Lord (and the Federal Reserve) has looked after the CEO more than he has the ungrateful little people. Here is the figures on the President of BSC

http://tinyurl.com/yo65vc

Alan D Schwartz
President/Director/CEO at
Bear Stearns Companies, Incorporated

Salary $250,000
Bonus $16,237,150
Other comp. $19,247,272

Total $35,734,422

The tragic part is that Mr Schwartz was stuck with over $53 million in stock options that he was unable to unload on any unsuspecting small investors. Let's pray that the Fed will reimburse him.

Now don't we all feel much better ? Praise the Lord !

3. My prediction in the next 2-4 weeks
Edited on Mon Mar-17-08 03:29 PM by TheLastMohican
Lehman Brothers to go next,
followed by

Goldman Sachs
Morgan Stanley
Wells Fargo
Washington Mutual
US Bank

Let's see how good I am at predicting someone go bankrupt.

Of course most of them will be bailed out by the government, the rich people shouldn't loose a lot of money.

Watch the Lehman Brothers

5. As I've said in the past, it really amazes me how certain people will
sell out the masses for peanuts compared to the Big Boys. Amazing. Corporate sickness.

His stated salary is less than 1% of his entire package. Wish I could say that.
