4. Good point. The yuan is indeed informally pegged to the dollar.

5. Maybe this will attract more Japanese tourists to Hawai'i
It's a heck of a deal now, only 97 yen for a US dollar. At these prices, I might have to stock up on some dollars. They will go back up, eventually-- I hope.

9. The Dollar can go up if we avert a deep recession/depression & take the steps toward avoiding losses
such as enormous Annual deficits as we now do....thanks to Bush,,,

we actually had a surplu under Clintons last couple of years.....

Shrub went into deficit spending even before 9/11 from his tax cuts to friends/buddies. 09/11 changed it even worse..

For an MBA guy...he blew it .....he/GOP Buddies really fucked things up by wrecking the economy which is the opposite effect for what he was elected to do...

Healthy wealthy and Wise??? Yeah, right...

11. Yeah, the $hrub couldn't wait to blow Clinton's surplus
His MBA isn't worth the paper it's printed on.
And he wasn't elected-- he was appointed, by his daddy's appointees and cronies on the Supreme Court. Since he knew he wasn't really elected, he felt-- and feels-- no obligation to serve the ordinary citizens of the country.

12. The man is a Bully...his type has little or NO EMPATHY....for others....
Its all about HIM....

I would love to see him write a simple letter/paper describing, in his own words, all his acomplishments in the 2 terms

My view...it would be on the PET GOAT LEVEL....thats how he thinks and talks...
