2. I really hate these cold, callous death counts.
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Spc. William D. O’Brien, 19, of Rice, Texas, died March 15 in Baghdad, Iraq, from wounds suffered when he was attacked by small arms fire during combat operations. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan.

3. That's the point!!!
Thanks for adding a little more info.

BUT!

The point of posting these numbers has nothing to do with YOUR pain!!

It does have a lot to do with waking up those that think everything is hunky dory!!

You have a duty to keep this debacle in the American psyche as do I!!

The soldiers and the families and the Iraqi's do not deserve any less!

The 5th Anniversary is TOMORROW!!! March 19th!!!

Almost 5 Years of War

http://www.unitedforpeace.org/

In a few days, we will be marking the 5th anniversary of the Iraq War. As we take action

6th year of death and destruction will begin.

It's hard to believe, impossible to accept.

Momentum is building toward our national day of action on Wednesday, March 19.
'It's not too late for you to make plans to come to DC or to get involved in an event in your area.
