What happened three years ago today? Only 3 years ago?
Doctors in Florida, acting on orders of a state judge, removed Terri Schiavo's feeding tube. (The brain-damaged woman died 13 days later.)

A lot of people point to Katrina hitting the Gulf Coast and the horrific televised lack of the most basic reponse by the Bush administration as the turning point when the public went sour on this Presidency but, in my opinion, the entire Terri Schiavo calamity was what exposed Bush and his media cronies to be what they truly are.

1. Agreed. And the warnings about Bush started in South Carolina in 2000:
That's when Rove ran his race-baiting push poll insinuating that McCain had a black child out of wedlock.

An administration willing to win by employing those tactics would be willing to: 1) Get us into a war on the pretense of lies; 2) Destroy the character of its enemies; 3) Repeatedly divide the voters by intentionally starting heated arguments on touchy subjects.

Fortunately, we're not that stupid anymore. :eyes: And, the media would never obsess over trivialities while allowing bigger issues to go uncovered. :eyes:
