Willie Horton Ad Being Used In Wisconsin Supreme Court Race
We just had a repuke (annette ziegler) put on our court, who presided over 45 cases as a judge where she had a financial interest. She was under investigation during the campaign, and after being "elected" by WMC (Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce - http://www.wmcwatch.org/ ) , she was reprimanded by the judicial ethics committee, which is UNPRECEDENTED. Well, we have a supreme court election on April 1st, and the repukes candidate (gableman) is being sponsored by WMC, and running this ad. I think this should go national because it is unprecedented and extremely important.

Here are some related links:

1. Want to help the Democrat trying to keep his seat on the court?
Judges can't legally ask for contributions, but I can. Here's the website of Justice Louis Butler, and if you have a little spare cash, I can't think of a better place to put it. He needs money to counter the nasty, false TV ads that are taking over our TV.

http://louisbutler.com/

If we lose this seat, the balance on the court will change toward conservative and hurt Wisconsin, right when the trend here and nationally is going toward taking back the reins from the Republicans. Louis Butler is a very able and intellectually honest jurist, which can't be said of his opponent, who has had 1/3 of his decisions as a circuit judge overturned on appeal. Incidentally, I don't think it's a bad thing to have an African American justice on the Supreme Court, especially in a state with a significant minority population in Milwaukee and other places.

So, if you're interested in helping us defeat the arrogant WMC and keep our court solid, please join me and do what you can. Thanks!
