The GE commercials about bringing modern medicine to impoverished parts of India and rural China.

The Chevron, Shell, and BP commercials telling us how they're turninging environmental miracles while working on our behalf to bring us more energy.

Ecomagination

All the wonderful imagery.

A flirtatious lady doctor and a klutzy patient.

Moms holding children.

Lush, green forests.

Bullshit.

Save the fucking money you spend on commercials and lower energy costs, you predatory, enslaving motherfuckers.

Who's next ...... will Big Pharma be back pushing boner pills again?

25. TV only goes on when others are home
I'm quite happy with NPR and classical music for my daytime noise. I tried watching TV during the day last week and decided it was such a waste of time.

31. You should make your kids watch the 80s action movies overdubbed in spanish
you'll know the plot and they'll learn something. My husband just *suffers* through my Chinese soap operas. But they have swordfights! And the American soaps can only hint at that.

8. Yep, although we actually do have one.
It has been turned on once in the last 4 months cause some friends of our brought over a console to play burn-out 3.

Downside is that I only understand about half of what most people talk about.:shrug:

9. I get just enough of a dose a few days a year...
when I travel for work and am stuck in a hotel (I have a hard time sleeping in hotels) and when I visit some family members. So I got to see Survivor and see what that was, etc.

I don't know how people have time to watch TV. I guess I waste time on the internet, but it uses my brain more. My greatest regret in life in always wanting more time. Can't imagine being on my deathbed and saying, damn, I shoulda watched the tube more.

I really have next to no idea what you're talking about. I killed my TV many years ago, and for all its drawbacks, the internets do have the slight advantage that I can pick and choose what advertisements I choose to see.

And yes, they do think we're morons and they believe they made us that way. I'm not sure that isn't something they're right about.
