Rachel Maddow on Countdown

I had it on in the background while I was doing work so I wasn't paying close attention but at one point it seemed that she was close to tears. And then when they went to a break Keith said something along the lines of "Are you ready for the? your? big announcement tomorrow"

Any know what's up?

5. I wasn't paying close attention

so I really hope I'm not starting rumors. I just wanted to see if it was anything (and obviously if it is, I hope it's nothing bad or serious). Again, wasn't paying close attention so I could have completely misread (or misheard..or mis-seen) the situation.

An absolute favorite.
Please let her take over for Morning Joe or Spitting Chris Matthews.

10. She said on her show this afternoon

that she's extremely nervous about subbing for Keith tomorrow night. I'm sure that's probably it. She seems to be a little shy when people compliment her--she always looks down instead of looking people in the eye.

I think she'll do great!
